CrossFit training can be extremely challenging, combine that with the general stress of modern day living and it can leave you feeling a bit ground out at times – to help offer a bit of balance we offer a minimum of 2 yoga classes per week at the gym + we also stream sessions via our Facebook Members Group (where there is an extensive archive of sessions you can access 24/7)
Mid week we offer 30min Classes at 9am prior to our 9:30am WOD class – these are an active vinyasa practice aimed at beginners / intermediate and are designed that you could go attend the WOD straight after. These 30min quick fix classes are a good way to get moving in the morning and get a taste for the benefits of yoga.
Sundays we run a longer 60min class which is more of a hatha into yin style practice, if these terms mean nothing to you – dont stress! Basically we generally spend the first part of the sessions moving between postures building up a bit of heat in the body and the second part of the session is at a much slower pace spending an extended amount of time in each posture (yin style) . As with our mid week classes these sessions are very suitable for beginners. Please check the schedule and Facebook group for latest session times and also contact us if you have any questions.
