Olympic Weightlifting
The Olympic Lifts – Snatch and Clean & Jerk are two of the most technical movements in sport and within a CrossFit setting it is one of the areas that requires the most dedicated time to become proficient at. Our specialty Olympic Lifting classes offer the opportunity to improve technique in the Olympic lifts as well as improving overall strength.
Each session comprises specific skill work within the Olympic lifts as well as strength building exercises, the classes are structured 4 week cycles with participants expected to attend all 4 weeks of a block.
These classes are suited to lifters of all levels (Beginner to Competitive). Beginners are particularly encourage to attend the session, coaches will ensure that sessions are modified to be suitable for your current ability level
For those interested in entering weightlifting competitions there are opportunities to compete locally and nationally, competitions are held regularly in South Australia – speak to one of the coaches if you are keen to get onto the platform and compete (it will be one of the most rewarding things you’ve ever done!)

Note – Our Specialty Classes are included in all of our Membership options – however for all Unlimited Membership options there is a limit of 1 (one) timetable class per day, for anyone wishing to complete multiple classes in a single day (ie a WOD + Gymnastics or Weightlifting) there is a $15 p. session fee (or $40 p. month). This surcharge does not apply for Basic Memberships or 10 Visit Passes as they have a pre-set number of visits allocated to them
