Tim has always had an interest in sports and fitness, enjoying a variety of different sports at a young age, including football and track & field athletics. At a young age he competed in State League Volleyball for USC Lion. After retiring from Volleyball stayed active through cycling and frequenting a gym.
He started CrossFit in 2012 at CrossFit Adelaide. Early 2018 his interest and passion for CrossFit turned him to becoming a Certified Fitness Instructor and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Now 48 he is competing in Masters fitness competitions and also turning his hand (or feet) to trail running, completing the Yurrebilla 56km Ultra Marathon in 2018. He likes to get out and about with his family on weekends for trail walks and plays (tries to) golf with his friends.
